Tenant Ledger

Complete your Company profile

What this is

Your company profile holds your business name and mailing address. Tenant Ledger uses it on the invoices, receipts, and other messages you send to tenants and owners, so it acts as your business’s “letterhead” across the app.

When to use it: fill it in when you first set up your account, and update it any time your business name or address changes, so everything you send out shows the right details.

Before you start

  • None.

Steps

  1. In the top navigation bar, click the Settings gear icon, then choose Settings.
  2. On the Settings page, click the Company Settings tile. The Edit Company form opens.
  3. Fill in your company details. Here’s what each field is for:
    • Company Name (required) - your business name, shown at the top of invoices and in tenant and owner messages.
    • Address - your main street address (for example, “100 Main Street”).
    • Address 2 - an optional second line, such as a suite or unit number.
    • Country, State, and City - your business location. These work as a chain: pick Country first, then State, then City. Each menu fills in based on the one above it, so if State or City looks empty, choose the level above it first.
    • Zip Code - your postal code.
  4. Click Save.

What you’ll see

After saving, you’re returned to the Settings page. Your updated company name and address will now appear on documents you send.

Tips

  • The Country, State, and City menus work as a chain: pick the Country, then the State, then the City. If a list looks empty, make sure you selected the level above it first.
  • Use Cancel to discard changes and leave the form without saving.
  • To change your logo, sender name, or email colors, use Email Branding instead - see Customize your branding.
